A labeled panorama photo is not just a labeled panorama photo. This page describes the various options for labeled panorama photos.
Direction of the label
Horizontal labeling of an Alpine panorama (Bernese Alps)

Vertical labeling of an Alpine panorama (Valais Alps)

Inclined labeling of an Alpine panorama (Bernese Alps and foothills)

The labeling is normally inclined by 45°. However, the inclination can also have other values, e.g. 30° or 60°.
Position of the label

All lines (if possible) of equal length

Color of the labeling
Basically any colour can be used for the labeling. The following colours have proven themselves:
- White
- Black
- Grey
Size of the labeling
Typically used font sizes:
- Height panorama picture 20cm: approx. 2.0mm font height
- Height panorama picture 25cm: approx. 2.5mm font height
- Height panorama picture 30cm: approx. 3.0mm font height
- Height panorama picture 35cm: approx. 3.5mm font height
- Height panorama picture 40cm: approx. 4.0mm font height
- Height panorama picture 50cm: approx. 5.0mm font height
The listed font heights refer to the height of the letter A.
Font
The font can be chosen freely.
Example with font Arial (mountain panorama Central Switzerland):

Number of labeled peaks, lakes and villages
If desired, more or less objects can be labeled. If desired, certain points can also be additionally labeled or existing lettering removed. These change requests can be made once after a binding order has been placed.
Color of the line
Basically any color can be used for the lines. The following colours have proven themselves:
- White
- Black
- Grey

Line thickness
Line thickness normally used:
- Height panorama photo 20cm: approx. 0.25mm line thickness
- Height panorama photo 25cm: approx. 0.25mm line thickness
- Height panorama photo 30cm: approx. 0.25mm line thickness
- Height panorama photo 35cm: approx. 0.25mm line thickness
- Height panorama photo 40cm: approx. 0.35mm line thickness
- Height panorama photo 50cm: approx. 0.35mm line thickness
